Minesweeper Mask
Many are familiar with the game minesweeper in the earlier version of windows where you try to avoid the mine. A balloon is beautiful and fun yet also dangerous like a mine waiting to be exploded. Combining the two objects the mask becomes a game of dare. The intention is to create a system of risk and reward. The risk is to avoid the balloon from popping which is the mine.
Overall
Mask section
The mask is made of 3 layers with the outer most layer being in contact with our hand, the inner layer in contact with the face and in between is the mines that are places between the gap of the balloons.
Mines
The tiny mines are made of clay and needles which will cause the balloons to explode once pressure is applied.
Materials
The balloons are filled with cooling powder mix with food coloring. The will add effects to the explosion of the balloons beside the popping sound
