CU Pavillion
What is parameter? What is boundary? What is frontier?
These questions were the challenges we've got to observe and define throughout the week. As the definition of "campus" became blurred from the original thought back in the modernism movement, campus spatial quality need to be develop corresponding to the growth of the urban and civic. New parameter has been given to Chulalongkorn University, replacing the existence territory with new proposal, design for better efficiency in communication and communal interaction.

The plan above shows the analysis of all the defined "parameter" and nearby context of Chulalongkorn Univerity around the site.
Progress
CU Pavilion
The idea of the pavilion came from the distortion of the grid by extracting the fishnet curves, the unique element from Rattanakosin architecture, to defines the circulation and program based on user activities and navigation routes.
Atmospheric View
The envelope was coated by translucent material to create sense of openness and connection between people from inside and outside. Multiple layers of panel create complexity in level of transparency.
